The service

Spegla is an application, made by Klura AB, that connects your computers to each other. Today it shows a Mac's screen on another Mac or Windows PC, or gives a Mac a second screen on that computer, on your local network or across networks when they allow a direct connection. You connect the two computers with a short code shown on the Mac whose screen you share. The video goes directly between your devices, peer-to-peer and encrypted; Spegla's servers help your devices find each other and don't see your screen.

Spegla is pre-release software in active development and has not launched yet. Features may change or be removed at any time. Planned features, such as remote control, moving files, a managed relay for when a direct connection isn't possible, and paid plans, are not part of the service until they are released.

Spegla is proprietary software, licensed and not sold. Klura AB retains all right, title, and interest in the application. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it; you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute it except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Who can use Spegla

You must be at least 13 years old to use Spegla. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve any purchase, and is responsible for your account.

Your account

You need an account to use Spegla, and you sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep that email account secure: anyone who can read its mail can sign in to your Spegla account. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

Plans and payments

Nothing is sold yet. When paid plans or relay credit become available, their prices and terms will be shown to you before you buy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Spegla to:

• Access or view devices you do not own or have explicit authorisation to access.
• Transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Attempt to circumvent security controls or interfere with the service for others.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

Disclaimer of warranties

Spegla is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klura AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use of Spegla after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
